Mexico, a country known for the world’s largest cement company Cemex, is now at the forefront of cement innovation with a new glow-in-the-dark variety. Dr José Carlos Rubio of the University of San Nicolas Hidalgo has filed a patent for a light emitting cement which glows after absorbing solar energy during the day.
